Harnessing social media for your hall and council
Thursday, 19 April, 10am – 1pm
Low Barn, The Hunsbury Hill Centre, Harksome Hill,
Northampton, NN4 9QX
Cost: £35 members/£45 non-members
Are you new to social media? Do you want to make better use of it? If so, this workshop will provide you with a great introduction to using various social media to promote your facility. You can find out why you should consider using social media to spread your message about your village hall or parish council, have a practical look at creating a Facebook page, understand Twitter and when to use and get lots of information about the other most popular social media platforms.
The workshop will be delivered by Northamptonshire ACRE’s Rural Officer and Community Facilities Adviser.
Feedback from last year’s training:
“Excellent workshop, very informative”, “Lots of ideas and inspiration to do things”, “Even as a social media user I have learnt lots of new things. I am excited to set up new pages for the Community Centre. Thank you ladies for a great morning”.
