Village Halls Week 2018
National ACRE is launching the first ever Village Halls Week starting on Monday 22 January. The week will celebrate the network of 10,000 community buildings in rural England which provide vital access to local services. As part of the week, events will be taking place up and down the country to champion the invaluable work done by the dedicated volunteers who run our rural community buildings. Northamptonshire ACRE is delighted to be supporting Village Halls Week and will be holding a coffee morning and networking event for community building volunteers on Wednesday 24 January. The coffee morning, which is a FREE event, will run from 10am until noon at the Hunsbury Hill Centre, Harksome Hill, NN4 9QX. To book a place, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
So, if you help to run a community building, why don't you think about getting involved? Why not hold your own #VillageHallsWeek coffee morning and remind your community just how lucky they are to have a community building which is available for everyone to use? Raise the profile of 'your' fundraising activity, thank 'your' local committee members and promote the services offered at 'your' hall. Or just show off 'your' hall - share photographs, news, stories and events as part of #VillageHallsWeek.
