Northamptonshire Hidden Needs report -

Monday, April 16, 2018

"While appearing to be an attractive rural county stretched along the picturesque Nene Valley, Northamptonshire struggles with noticeable social inequalities, most significantly in: health and wellbeing; and skills/education".

Hidden Needs: A report to Northamptonshire Community Foundation on the needs and deprivation in Northamptonshire.

This is the first Northamptonshire Hidden Needs Report commissioned by Northamptonshire Community Foundation. The research was conducted by Professor Richard Hazenberg and PhD Researcher, Claire Paterson-Young at the University of Northampton, Institute for Social Innovation and Impact.

This report explores five areas of priority needs within our local communities. The report highlights key areas of deprivation and inequality that are of great concern and need tackling within Northamptonshire urgently. You can read the full report or summary report on Northamptonshire Hidden Needs below. There is also an online presentation and interactive map focusing on the most pressing issues and problems for each locality of the county.

This report can be a valuable means of evidence to support funding bids your community might be looking at.
