Trustees' Week Training - Trustee Roles and Responsibilities

As part of Trustees' Week 2020, our Community Facilities Adviser will be holding a virtual training event on Wednesday 4^th November (10am-12noon) on Trustee Roles and Responsibilities.  Areas covered will include:

- 7 key duties of a charity trustee

- trustee liability

- parish councils and village halls: custodian trustee or sole trustee

- understanding your governing document (trust deed, constitution, CIO etc.)

Cost:  £25pp (member) & £30pp (non-member)

Trustees' Week 2020 takes place from 2nd to 6th November.  It's an annual celebration of trustees and is the ideal opportunity to share tools and best practice across the sector.  The organisers will not be hosting an annual trustees’ conference this year. Instead they will be holding a series of free online events and workshops on board effectiveness. They will also be publishing useful resources and allowing free access to their online governance tools for all.
