Village Halls Week 2024

Village Halls Week 2024 will be taking place from 18 to 24 March.

Since 2018 (when Village Halls Week was first launched) the Week has taken place in January. After consulting the ACRE Network, ACRE decided to move the Week to spring when the weather should be better and it should be easier for halls to host events.

The theme of Village Halls Week 2024 will be environmental sustainability. This is in response to concerns about rising energy costs and the need to make community buildings more energy efficient. And it’s hoped the Week will help to encourage initiatives that contribute to Net Zero in local communities.

ACRE is urging hall management committees to put the dates in their diary and sign up to receive updates on how to get involved.
