Village Awards

The Northamptonshire Village Awards (NVAs) have a rich history of celebrating the spirit and vibrancy of our rural communities. The prestigious awards offer an opportunity for villages to showcase their strengths in areas like sustainability, inclusiveness, and community engagement. They highlight the wonderful work carried out by volunteers, local groups, and residents that make Northamptonshire villages such a great place to live.

Over the years, the NVAs have celebrated exceptional communities such as Tiffield, which was crowned the Best Village 2022 after impressing the judges with its vibrant community spirit, green spaces, and the pivotal role of its local pub, The George, as a community hub. Tiffield, alongside other award winners like Orlingbury and Nether Heyford, demonstrated what can be achieved when villagers come together to build something special. The awards, sponsored by CPRE Northamptonshire, have become a highlight of the local calendar, bringing communities together to celebrate their achievements.

However, the NVAs will not be running in 2025. This is due to the ongoing search for a sponsor to support the awards and ensure their continuation. As a result, we are reaching out to companies and organizations that are passionate about supporting rural communities to consider becoming the sponsor for the 2025 event.
