Bespoke Corporate Volunteering Opportunities
Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a great way for businesses to give back to the community, and at Northants Acre, we offer bespoke volunteering opportunities that are tailored to your company’s values. We work with businesses to create unique volunteer programmes that not only benefit local causes but also allow your team to bond, develop new skills, and take pride in making a positive impact.
From conservation efforts to supporting local charities, we can help you design a volunteering project that suits your business needs and goals. By partnering with us, your team can be part of something meaningful and leave a lasting impression on the community.
Volunteering Opportunities for Students
Volunteering is a fantastic way for university and college students to gain practical experience, build their CV, and get involved with important community projects. We offer tailored opportunities that allow students to develop skills in areas like project management, conservation, event planning, and community outreach.
Working with local universities and colleges, we help students get involved in projects that make a real impact in Northamptonshire. Not only will you gain hands-on experience, but you’ll also make a difference to the community, build valuable connections, and enrich your personal and professional growth.
Heritage Project Volunteering – National Lottery Heritage Fund
We’re excited to introduce our new heritage project, supported by the National Lottery Heritage Fund! This project offers amazing volunteering opportunities for anyone interested in history, culture, and conservation. Volunteers can get involved with everything from researching local history, recording oral histories, cataloguing artefacts, to engaging with local communities about the heritage of Northamptonshire.
This is a fantastic chance to learn about the rich history of our region, meet like-minded people, and be part of a project that celebrates and preserves the local heritage. Thanks to the National Lottery Heritage Fund, we provide training and support to all our volunteers, so whether you’re new to heritage work or experienced, you’ll have a rewarding experience.
Conservation and Horticulture Volunteering for Moulton College Students
We’ve teamed up with Moulton College to offer students some fantastic conservation and horticulture volunteering opportunities. These hands-on projects allow students to apply what they’re learning in a real-world setting while contributing to the conservation of our local green spaces.
Whether it’s planting trees, maintaining gardens, or restoring local habitats, Moulton College students play a key role in preserving the natural beauty of Northamptonshire. It’s a great way to develop practical skills in environmental sustainability and conservation, while making a positive impact on the local community.
